How Does the Plasma Pen Work?

Plasma Pen is a modern cosmetic device designed for non-invasive aesthetic procedures. It works on the principle of creating plasma discharges that act on the surface of the skin. During the procedure, the Plasma Pen creates small, controlled plasma discharges that instantly cause the old skin to evaporate. The discharge is very precise and does not damage the surrounding and underlying tissues. This process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which leads to a gradual improvement in the appearance and texture of the skin.

Dr.Nek Plasma Pen works with different types of attachments, so the treatment can vary both in terms of course, healing time and contraindications.

Plasma Pen with tip (needle) uses the plasma state of matter. Between the disposable tip of the device and the treated skin at a distance of approximately 2 mm, a small plasma discharge (something like a small flash) occurs, which evaporates the old skin, there is no heat transfer.

Fulguration (discharge) is very precise and does not damage surrounding and underlying tissues. This stimulates the formation of fibroblasts and the formation of collagen and elastin, which subsequently smooths the skin. The Plasma Pen treatment leaves temporary small red spots on the skin, after which fine scabs will form, which will heal and peel off in 5- 9 days. This treatment is, for example, suitable for removing wrinkles, stretch marks, lifting the upper and lower lids.

Plasma Pen with a flat tip (mushroom)which incorporates serum, works on the principle of combining plasma technology and transdermal delivery of active substances.
