We had our own Dr.nek Hyaluronic Acid Fortified Hyaluronic Acid for the Hyaluron Pen because we lacked it on the market.
The brief to our technologist who developed and manufactured the acid for us was to make the acid last as long as possible in the lips and wrinkles. Simply put, to make the effect of lip enhancement and wrinkle smoothing as long lasting as possible, but at the same time the acid could be used with the hyaluron pen.
That's why we had it produced at a concentration of 35% as opposed to the regular acid which reaches a maximum concentration of 7%.
We achieved this by using low molecular weight acids that would never form a gel even if they were 50%, but by coupling them together we not only achieved a favourable viscosity for application, but we also achieved a much higher proportion of HA acids in the solution - the 35%.
