Dr.Nek Plasma Pen uses the plasma state of matter. A small plasma discharge (like a small flash) is generated between the disposable tip of the device and the skin to be treated at a distance of approximately 2mm, which vaporizes the old skin without heat transfer.
The fulguration (discharge) is very precise and does not damage the surrounding and underlying tissues. This stimulates the production of fibroblasts and leads to the production of collagen and elastin, resulting in smoother skin. The Plasma Foam treatment leaves temporary small dots of redness on the skin, after which fine scabs form which heal and peel off in 5 - 9 days.
