Diode laser for hair removal

Diode epilation lasers are one of the most effective types of devices for removing unwanted hair. Dr.Nek Diode laser is effective in removing unwanted hair of any color and type ( black, red, hard, soft etc. ), regardless of the skin phototype, because the light energy with a wavelength of 808 nm easily reaches the follicle and is absorbed by its melanin.

Dr.Nek diode laser is a modern device designed for permanent hair removal. This laser uses an 805 nm wavelength that is optimized for absorption by melanin in the hair, allowing for effective and safe hair removal on a variety of skin types, especially light to medium skin with dark hair. With an integrated cooling system, it ensures minimal discomfort during treatment, increasing patient comfort. With its advanced technology, it provides fast, effective and long-lasting results.

Recommended treatment:

Only in the so-called growth phase (approx. 20-40% of hairs) are finally destroyed. For this reason it is necessary to repeat the laser epilation several times. The total number of treatments is individual. Approximately 3 - 6 times the treatment should be repeated after 4-5 weeks.

The device offers 3 operating modes:

• SHR (Super Hair Removal):

SHR (super hair removal) is a hair removal method that combines laser technology and pulsed light. This method uses repetitive low energy pulses at high frequency (usually around 10 Hz), allowing the dermal layer of the skin to be gradually heated to a targeted temperature.
Benefit: This method is less painful and can be safely used on darker skin types as it reduces the risk of burns and discomfort. It is suitable for larger areas of the body.

• SHR Stack:

SHR stacking is an enhanced version of the standard SHR mode. "Stack" in this context means to layer pulses in the same place, increasing the cumulative energy delivered to the hair follicles.
Benefits: this mode is particularly effective for thicker and more resistant hairs, as repeated pulses in the same spot provide a deeper and more intense treatment.

• HR (Hair Removal):

HR (Hair Removal) is a traditional mode of hair removal using a diode laser. It uses higher pulse energies at a lower frequency than SHR.
