What's the difference between a rubber base and a regular base?

Rubber base contains a rubber polymer that makes it more flexible and better at absorbing impact, so it suits thin, damaged or brittle nails. A regular base is stiffer and works better on healthy, stronger nails that don't need extra flexibility.

How do you prevent gel polish from lifting or chipping?
