Product detailed description
Dr.Nek Plasma Pen – Cold Plasma
Cold plasma is an advanced cosmetic technology that works with ionized gas at a low temperature, typically up to 35–40 °C, so it does not cause thermal damage to tissues. Thanks to this, it is suitable even for sensitive, acne-prone, irritated or problematic skin. It has antibacterial effects, soothes the skin, accelerates healing and significantly improves the absorption of active ingredients without thermal damage.
The technology creates active forms of oxygen and nitrogen, which have antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects. Cold plasma activates cellular renewal and supports the natural regeneration of the skin without disrupting its protective barrier.
The treatment is painless, requires no recovery time, and can be combined with other cosmetic procedures to enhance the final result.
Dr.Nek Plasma Pen – Cold Plasma is suitable for:
-
Acne and inflamed skin – destroys bacteria
-
Irritated, sensitive and eczematous skin
-
Inflammation, redness and skin sensitivity

Skin regeneration after invasive cosmetic procedures (microneedling, laser, chemical peel)
-
Supports healing of minor wounds and damaged skin
-
Seborrhea and excessive sebum production
-
Improves absorption of active ingredients
-
Prevention of acne formation and bacterial spread on the skin
-
Gentle rejuvenation and stimulation of cellular renewal without burdening the skin

Difference Between Hot and Cold Plasma:
Hot and cold plasma in cosmetic devices differ mainly in temperature, type of energy and their effect on the skin. Both technologies use ionized gas (plasma), but their applications differ depending on the treatment goal.
Hot Plasma:
-
Higher temperature (approx. 35–45 °C, in some devices even higher)
-
Mode of action: thermal energy
Main Effects:
-
Skin tightening and lifting – heat causes contraction of collagen fibers
-
Stimulation of regeneration – affects deeper layers of the skin, supports collagen production
-
Micro-damage to the skin – the body responds with a healing process (evaporation of the surface epidermal layer)
Used mainly for blepharoplasty, removal of wrinkles, pigmentation, scars, acne, and skin tightening.
Recovery is required – redness and scabs for 5–10 days.
Cold Plasma:
-
Low temperature (approx. 25–30 °C)
-
Primarily electrical and chemical (plasma) effects, not thermal
Main Effects:
-
Strong disinfection and antibacterial effect
-
Support of healing and skin calming, suitable even after invasive procedures
-
Increased absorption of active ingredients
-
Reduction of acne, inflammation, eczema, seborrhea, accelerated regeneration
-
No skin damage, kills bacteria effectively
No recovery time is required.
In addition to the cold plasma mode, which works at low temperature and is ideal for antibacterial, soothing and regenerative effects, the device can also be used in hot plasma mode.
Hot plasma operates at a higher temperature and creates a micro-spark that causes gentle thermal skin tightening. This mode is suitable for a lifting effect, skin firming, wrinkle reduction, local treatment of minor imperfections and stimulation of collagen production.
Unlike cold plasma, it acts more on the skin surface and uses controlled micro-damage, which activates the healing process and subsequent tissue remodeling.
